We’re out in Sydney & a couple of days later I ask him if he’s spoken

to her 

He’s like “Na not yet she’s gonna meet us out next Saturday” 

I’m like bro FFS it’s like Monday man Saturdays ages away 

He’s cool like “yeah don’t worry its all good” or whatever 

But we get to the weekend & he doesn’t manage to meet her 

The thing is I’m not surprised

A week is a long time in the dating world of 2016

& this is before we even get to face to face interactions 

Every week my straggler ex gf would tell me about guys stopping her in

a cafe, supermarket or on the street

& then you got the girls drinks & nights outs they go on as well 

I’m sure they get chatted up there as well

I’m a relaxed guy so I never really minded with my ex though 

Just a shame she couldn’t keep her knickers on but thats another story…

The thing is clearly I was too relaxed & I think so was my mate 

Basically by the time he waits a week his chances are dropping fast

It’s not impossible but hopefully you get what I’m saying 

& look I know I’m the same a lot of times as well
